UH Giving Tuesday 2022

Textbooks are expensive!

Please help us provide free e-textbooks for UH students. 

Many of our UH students have to choose between the books they need for their classes, and paying for food and shelter.

E-books allow multiple students to read a textbook at the same time and to print and download portions of the text.

One e-textbook rental license, purchase, or membership costs the UH Library an average of about $150.

Your gift to the University of Hawai‘i's Hamilton Library will give many students access to e-textbooks at no cost to them!

Our Goal for Giving Tuesday is to raise $4,500 for 30 e-textbooks. That will provide free textbooks for approximately 1,000 UH students!
