Food Vault Hawai‘i (FVH) is a pantry open to over 19,000 registered students at the University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa who may face food insecurity at some point during their course of study. The US Department of Agriculture defines food insecurity as a lack of consistent access to enough food for an active, healthy lifestyle.
Between October 2018 and September 2022, FVH distributed over 62,000 pounds of food and toiletries to UH Mānoa students in need through the pantry and other events.
Please help us continue to serve our students by making a donation today.
"I've made the food from FVH go a long way, with enough food for almost a week. This has been a huge help while I was looking for work and was on a tight budget."
"In months when I struggle to make my income cover all my needs, FVH services has provided peace of mind to know that I will be able to eat. It's lifted that burden and made it easier to focus on my studies."
"After paying for school and living expenses, I sometimes don't have enough money to buy food. FVH has helped me as a student by supplementing my food supply."
"I wouldn't have been able to eat some days if it wasn't for FVH services, I am incredibly grateful and hope the program continues..."
UH Mānoa’s students need your help with food and toiletries. Every donation is welcome and will have an impact on their studies—and their lives.
Please give today to help create better tomorrows for our students!
