Neighbor Island Medical Scholars Program

This week-long summer program introduces high school students from our neighbor islands to an engaging, hands-on learning opportunity for students interested in health professions. Needs-based scholarships of $1,500 per student are offered, which covers registration, airfare, lodging, transportation, and food. Our goal on UH Giving Day is to provide 10 scholarships to neighbor island students.
