At Kapi‘olani Community College, it is part of our strategic plan to improve awareness and education for the ecological and cultural importance of Native Hawaiian plants and trees on our campus. Through the dedication of the Native Hawaiian Plant Advisory Committee, there has been a steady focus on cultivation, planting and care of Native Hawaiian flora, the installation of proper irrigation, and the removal of invasive species. Your generosity will help us support events, such as Mālama ʻĀina clean up the campus workdays and fund educational workshops and tours that help build connections with students and members of our community.
