GoFarm Hawaiʻi began training new farmers in 2012 as an extension program of UH CTAHR, with its first farm school location on the Windward side of Oʻahu at Windward Community College and then Waimānalo. Our first tractor was purchased 10 years ago, for use in preparing new fields. After many years of faithful service and the wear and tear of 15 cohorts of students learning to drive a tractor, we need to purchase a new tractor to make it possible to continue farm operations.
Please help us reach our $25,000 goal, which will be matched dollar for dollar totaling $50,000 for a new tractor!
Your contribution will make it possible for the next cohorts of beginning farmers to continue learning how to grow crops here in Hawaiʻi, and produce healthy local food for our communities. Mahalo nui for your support!
