Health and Well-Being/Basic Needs

Ensuring the health and well-being of our University of Hawaiʻi–West Oʻahu students is a top priority and necessary for their success, in school and beyond. A 2020 survey of UH West O‘ahu students found that 39% experienced food insecurity in the prior 30 days, 40% experienced housing insecurity in the previous year, and 8% experienced homelessness in the previous year. Your contributions to this fund will help support our students’ basic needs – including food, housing and security, clothing, school supplies, and keiki items – as well as disability services and mental health services. Mahalo for your generosity!
