New Training Mats Needed
Our team is currently training on mats that are over 12 years old—well beyond the recommended replacement cycle of 5 years. New mats are essential to protect our athletes’ joints and ensure a safe training environment. The cost for new mats, including shipping, is approximately $12,000.
Mainland Training Camp
Every summer, top collegiate cheerleaders from across the country attend elite training camps. The nearest camp for UH is at UC Santa Barbara, and the total cost for our team to attend is around $19,500. This experience is invaluable for skill development and team bonding.
Travel to Big West Championships
Our cheerleaders make a huge impact, especially in tight games. We aim to send a full squad to the Big West Basketball Championships in Las Vegas each year. Additional travel expenses total around $6,000, helping us bring the full team to support our athletes. Our Cheer Team continues to represent UH with pride, energy, and excellence—both on and off the court.
