The upcoming jellyfish gallery will display a diverse selection of gelatinous zooplankton, illustrating their roles as predators, prey, and symbionts within marine ecosystems. These animals are vital in maintaining ecosystem stability by being an integral part of the food web, and they participate in the transference of essential nutrients between the different zones of the ocean. This new gallery will display a diverse selection of jellyfish species, educating and inspiring the public about their biology, conservation, and ecological importance. The exhibits will also allow aquarium visitors, who may never overwise have the opportunity, to experience these animals in a safe, educational, and aesthetically pleasing environment.
