Support efforts to increase the Native Hawaiian flora population across Kapi‘olani Community College’s campus. This fund supports education, curriculum, undergraduate research, and community outreach events so our students may engage with culture and with the physical landscape of Native Hawaiian plants on their home campus.
The Native Hawaiian Plant Fund highlights the Giving Day theme honoring Hawaiian values and culture:
- Increasing our environmental kinship to ‘āina and our Native Hawaiian plant ‘ohana.
- Upholding our kuleana to pono land stewardship of this campus through traditional Hawaiian values and practices.
- Providing provisional, educational, and cultural resources for the campus community through cultivating Native Hawaiian plants.
Thank you for making a difference for our campus life and community!
