The Center for Resilient Neighborhoods (CERENE) supports undergraduate students as they engage in real-world, community-based projects that strengthen cultural resilience and climate preparedness across Oʻahu.
By supporting the participatory planning and implementation of resilience hubs across Oʻahu, CERENE connects local climate action to global sustainability goals. Through programs such as the TBSE Economics Bridge Program and the Climate Resilience Kaiaulu Webinar Series, students engage in place-based civic learning, research, and cross-cultural exchange. These opportunities encourage them to think globally while acting locally, equipping them to become leaders in global conversations around sustainability, justice, and resilience.
Your support empowers student-led research and action that directly contributes to building a more resilient and sustainable Hawaiʻi.
