Without a faculty and support staff, we would not be a university.
Without a world-class faculty and thoroughly committed support staff, we would not be the University of Hawai‘i.
Yet recent years have taught us that we are all vulnerable to crises and disasters, and when one section of our community suffers, the entire university community suffers.
When personal setbacks away from campus disrupt their efforts on campus, our faculty and staff may have difficulty bouncing back. The Urgent Faculty and Staff Relief Fund assists our professors, instructors, directors, counselors, technicians, and grounds crew who find themselves suddenly in crisis.
