Shidler College of Business
Your gift will help us attract the most talented students to Shidler College.

This Giving Tuesday, our goal is to raise $10,000 to fund 10 additional DAP students.

Giving TuesdayDesigned to give high-achieving incoming freshman students a head start on earning their business degree, the Shidler Freshman Direct Admit Program – or DAP – continues to gain traction as local applicants, as well as those from around the globe, made such an impressive pool of candidates that the college increased the fall 2021 enrollment from 80 to 100 students. It’s our largest cohort to date!

These freshman admits averaged an admirable high school GPA of 3.89, and 61% of them earned college credit during high school.

The strength of this group reflects the strong reputation of Shidler College as a leader in international business education. We’re excited to see these outstanding students become the next generation of business leaders here in Hawai‘i and beyond.

Your donations in support of the DAP program make it possible for our most promising local, mainland and global students to make Shidler College their top college of choice, contributing to a college experience rich in diversity and living up to its international reputation. Thank you for making your gift today!

"Being a DAP student is a great way to get your foot in the door within Shidler. It's how I grew professionally and personally in college, met some of my best friends and was able to network within the various clubs offered at Shidler."

-Joshua Rio, Shidler College junior, intended management information systems & finance major
