The transition from in-person classes to online formats created overwhelming challenges for many students at Kaua‘i Community College. A significant number of Kaua‘i CC students live in rural areas of the island and do not have access to the internet or WiFi bandwidth needed to maintain consistent connectivity required for Zoom online classes, submitting assignments, and asynchronous courses offered by the college.
Economic hardships exacerbated by the pandemic mean that this continues to be a challenge for our students, impacting their access online learning platforms.
Your gift will help ensure these students are able to access their online classes, get homework in on time, keep up with meetings, and have a good online presence.
